American actress Trachtenberg, aged 39, passed away at her home in New York City. She had recently undergone a liver transplant. Although the cause of death was initially unclear, it was later identified through laboratory tests.
She portrayed the character of Dawn, the younger sister of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character, in the drama ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer,’ which aired from 2000 to 2003.
