Here’s what you need to do before eating:
- Prepare the banana blossom:
Remove the hard outer layers.
Finely chop the tender inner part and soak it in water with salt and lime juice (to prevent discoloration).
Then, boil it with turmeric and salt for about 5 minutes.
Drain the water and squeeze out the excess moisture.
- Mix everything together:
Now, add the boiled banana blossom, grated coconut, onion, green chilies, salt, and pepper to a bowl.
Squeeze in some lime juice and mix everything well.
