Powerball Jackpot $1.20 Billion – The Whole World Awaits Luck

Powerball once again captured worldwide attention on September 1. The jackpot climbed to a staggering $1.20 billion after no player managed to hit the winning combination during the weekend draw. A lucky winner would have been able to choose a lump-sum payment of $544.1 million.

The winning numbers were 8, 23, 25, 40, 53, with the Powerball 5 and Power Play 3x. No one claimed the jackpot, but players in Montana and North Carolina each won $2 million. Another ten players across states such as California, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia each took home $1 million.

So far in 2025, Powerball has crowned four jackpot winners. On January 18, a player in Oregon claimed $328.5 million. On March 29, a California resident scored $527 million. On April 26, a Kentucky winner earned $167.3 million. On May 31, another Californian collected $204.5 million.

The next drawing will be held on Wednesday, September 3, at 11 p.m. ET. With no jackpot winner this round, the prize pool is expected to grow even larger.

For just $2, players can join in by selecting five white ball numbers plus one Powerball. A “Quick Pick” option is also available.

Powerball fever continues to sweep across the globe, as millions chase the dream of life-changing riches.
