San Antonio – Houston’s head coach, Kelvin Sampson, said his team’s hopes were dashed after they were eliminated from the NCAA national championship tournament with a 65-63 defeat.
Houston was leading by 12 points midway through the game. However, in the end, they were defeated by the Florida team. Sampson stated that his team deserved to win. Although winning the NCAA championship was a big hope for the Houston team, it ultimately remained unfulfilled.
