Barcelona defeats Atlético and qualifies for the Copa del Rey final

Last night, in the Copa del Rey match, Barcelona secured a 1-0 victory against Atlético Madrid. With an aggregate score of 5-4, this win helped them advance to the semi-finals. Moving forward, they are set to face Real Madrid in the grand final, scheduled to take place in Seville on April 26.

Barcelona’s coach, Hansi Flick, reintegrated Rafinha and Pau Cubarsí into the main squad before the match, and both players were included in the starting lineup. However, the absence of key striker Robert Lewandowski from the starting eleven caught the attention of spectators.

Additionally, talented Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny is set to sign a contract extension with Barcelona for another year, extending his stay until June 2026.

Meanwhile, 36-year-old Polish striker Robert Lewandowski leads the La Liga goal tally with 25 goals. His experience and modern attacking skills provide a significant advantage to the Barcelona squad.

This victory and the contract extension serve as a strong boost for Barcelona’s future success.
