Halle Bailey has requested protection from the court due to the abuse she faced from her ex-boyfriend DDG

Los Angeles* — Legal protection has been sought by *The Little Mermaid* actress and singer Halle Bailey from the court, with abuse from her ex-boyfriend DDG being cited as the reason.

DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., is known as a rapper and YouTuber.

According to court documents submitted by Bailey, abuse was suffered by her throughout their relationship.

It is stated by her that she was subjected to physical, verbal, emotional, and financial abuse by DDG.

“Protection for myself and our child from his ongoing abuse is now needed,” was told by Bailey to the court.

On Tuesday, a temporary restraining order was issued by the court, preventing DDG from approaching Bailey and their son, Halo.

Their son is 17 months old.

A court hearing has been scheduled for June 6.

Bailey and DDG were in a relationship from 2022 until 2024.

Following their separation, several incidents of aggressive behavior are claimed by Bailey to have occurred.

No public statements regarding the allegations have yet been made by DDG.
