Hollywood actor Gene Hackman died of natural causes. His wife, Betsy Arakawa, also died a week later of a rare disease.
Authorities say Hackman was unaware of his wife’s death due to his advanced Alzheimer’s disease.

Their bodies were found last week, along with the body of a pet dog, at their home in the US state of New Mexico. Although the exact cause of death of this dog has not been found, the authorities say that the hantavirus was infected.
Oscar-winning Hackman was considered one of Hollywood’s greatest “tough men” before he retired from acting and fell out of the limelight two decades ago.
