Verizon network outage shakes customers worldwide

Across America, Verizon’s mobile network suddenly went down. Thousands of people in Sacramento, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Orlando, Tampa, Minneapolis, Omaha, and Indianapolis experienced technical problems. Customers throughout California also felt strong impacts.

Reports on the Downdetector website surged within minutes. At one point, more than 22,000 people reported issues. In Los Angeles alone, over 1,300 customers filed complaints. Verizon explained that the disruption came from a software issue.

Verizon engineers are now working with full force. They said they are taking every step to quickly identify and solve the problem. However, the company has not yet confirmed when full service will be restored.

The company advised customers to check Verizon’s website for network status. Because of this issue, both internet and phone connections faced heavy disruption.

Millions of Verizon users worldwide faced shock from the outage. Verizon is now pushing hard to bring services back to normal.
