New Zealand won the toss today and sent South Africa in to bat first. They prepared to defend their score and secure another win.

South Africa’s captain, Rassie van der Dussen, seemed happy despite losing the toss. He also preferred to bat first. This match acts as a rehearsal for Saturday’s final.
Zimbabwe is already out of the series. So, both teams now test their strength. Victory builds confidence before the final.
South Africa made several changes. Reeza Hendricks and Rassie opened the innings. Lhuan-dre Pretorius moved down the order. Coetzee and Maphaka returned. Three spinners joined the squad.

New Zealand strengthened their pace attack. They brought in Foulkes and O’Rourke. Their batting line-up remained the same.
So far, chasing teams have won three out of four matches. New Zealand alone defended a score. They beat South Africa last Wednesday.
Today, they hope to repeat it. A new wave of confidence may rise before the final.
