Julian McMahon Passes Away Due to Cancer

Popular Hollywood actor Julian McMahon (56) passed away on July 2 in Clearwater, Florida, after battling cancer. He gained worldwide fame for his roles as Dr. Doom in the films Nip/Tuck, Charmed, FBI: Most Wanted, and Fantastic Four.

His wife, Kelly McMahon, stated, “Julian loved life, his family, and his friends. He always spread joy. Please allow us some time to grieve in silence.”

Julian was born in Sydney, Australia, on July 27, 1968. His father, Billy McMahon, served as Australia’s Prime Minister from 1971-72. Julian started his career in modeling before moving into acting with The Power, the Passion and Home and Away. He then continued his acting career in the American soap opera Another World.

He rose to fame with his roles in Profiler, Charmed, and as Dr. Christian Troy in Nip/Tuck. His performance in Nip/Tuck earned him a Golden Globe nomination. He last appeared on screen as Jess LaCroix in FBI: Most Wanted.

He became globally popular through films like Fantastic Four, RED, Premonition, and The Surfer (2024). Fans and friends have expressed deep sorrow over his passing.
