Massive Flooding Hits Kerrville, Texas

Kerrville, Texas is facing another disaster due to severe flooding. Sudden floodwaters from the Guadalupe River have inundated Camp Mystic, leaving 23–25 children, aged between 8 and 13, still missing. Around 1:30 a.m., as a fierce storm rolled in, water began pouring into cabins, forcing many to flee quickly to higher ground.

Several people were rescued by helicopter, and Texas Game Wardens began evacuating those who had climbed to safety on elevated areas. Sheriff Larry Leitha stated that the death toll has reached 24 so far, with more people still missing.

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said, “Everyone in Texas should pray to God for the safe return of these children.”

Search operations began today and rescues are happening rapidly. Authorities have warned locals to stay alert, as further flooding could cause more danger. The entire community remains hopeful for the safe return of all the missing children.
